Why we exist
Most early-stage founders raising a seed round don't have access to institutional-grade valuation and financial modeling — that kind of rigor is usually reserved for later rounds, once a firm's fees make sense against the check size. Valrock was built to bring that same discipline to founders earlier, when a clean model and a defensible valuation matter most because there's the least room for error.
How we work
We run a short list of services deliberately. Every engagement starts with a scoping call, and we say so directly when something is outside what we do — including pointing founders to a CA or SEBI-registered Merchant Banker when a request requires statutory sign-off we're not licensed to provide.
The team
Valrock is led by its founder, with a background in investment research and financial analysis, working alongside one collaborator. We're a small team by design at this stage — every engagement gets direct founder-level attention, not a handoff to a junior analyst.
Where we're headed
Our current focus is seed-stage founders. As the practice grows, we intend to extend the same model to mid-market companies, and eventually beyond India — but we're building that credibility one engagement at a time, not claiming it up front.
